Entain’s online net gaming revenue in the UK and Ireland rose 14% in the three months to 30 September 2026. A 36% fall in Brazil helped limit growth across the group to 2%, exposing a sharp divide between its markets.

The UK and Ireland lead

Entain reported these year-on-year figures for the quarter:

  • UK and Ireland total net gaming revenue: up 8% at constant currency.
  • UK and Ireland online revenue: up 14%.
  • UK and Ireland retail revenue: up 1% in the reported performance table.
  • Brazil net gaming revenue: down 36%.
  • Group net gaming revenue across continuing operations: up 2%.

The 14% figure covers the combined UK and Ireland business, not the UK alone. Entain attributed its online performance to strong volumes and market-share gains. Those are the company’s own assessments.

Brazil weighs on the total

Entain said Brazil faced mounting challenges ahead of an immediate online gambling ban announced there on 25 September. The company’s figures define net gaming revenue as net revenue before value-added and sales taxes.

Growth is reported at constant currency. Entain says it translated current and prior-year results using 2026 exchange rates, making the comparison less affected by currency movements.

Guidance stays unchanged

Entain reiterated its full-year 2026 guidance. It expects underlying earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, excluding parent fees, to come in towards the lower end of its £910 million to £960 million range.

The company also described the UK tax environment as increasingly challenging. It did not change the guidance it set on 28 September.

Strong online growth in the combined UK and Ireland business did not lift Entain’s group outlook: Brazil’s decline kept overall growth modest, and full-year guidance stayed unchanged.

The trading update covers 1 July to 30 September 2026. Entain published it on 15 October, and the London Stock Exchange published the filing. SBC News also reported on the results.
