Silkbet has signed a turnkey technology agreement with Digitain ahead of a planned launch in Great Britain. Digitain announced the partnership on 24 August 2026. Silkbet’s website had not gone live at that point.

The deal covers sportsbook, horse racing, virtual sports, casino aggregation, customer relationship management and payment services, according to Digitain.

Digitain will also provide the technology infrastructure and 24-hour technical support for the planned operation.

Licences are active, but the website is not live

The Gambling Commission’s public register lists Silkbet Limited under account number 101183. It records three active remote licences:

  • Casino
  • General Betting Standard for real events
  • General Betting Standard for virtual events

All three licences became active on 7 May 2026. The register lists Silkbet’s head office in Southampton.

An active operating licence does not show that a gambling website is accepting customers. An industry report published by SBC Eurasia on 25 August 2026 said Silkbet’s website had not launched and that the operator was preparing its online platform.

The licence record confirms Silkbet’s regulatory status, but not the availability of its betting or casino products.

What the agreement changes

The agreement gives Silkbet one supplier for a range of betting, casino, payments and customer-management functions. This could limit the number of separate technology integrations needed before launch.

The deal does not remove Silkbet’s responsibility for meeting Gambling Commission requirements. These include customer protection, identity checks, anti-money-laundering controls, payments and complaints handling.

Digitain’s UK-facing business, Digitain (MT) Limited, holds active Gambling Commission licences for gambling software, casino game hosting, and betting hosting for real and virtual events under account number 63601.

The Gambling Commission register shows no recorded regulatory actions for the supplier’s entry.

Great Britain is the relevant market

The licences cover commercial gambling in England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland has a separate gambling framework and is not regulated by the Gambling Commission in the same way.

Silkbet’s partnership announcement therefore indicates preparation for a Great Britain launch. It does not confirm that trading has begun or provide a launch date.

What happens next

The next stage is the launch of a live service that meets British regulatory requirements. Until that happens, customers cannot assume that Silkbet’s licensed products are available.
