Betfred Deal Gives S Gaming Direct Access to Great Britain’s Online Casino Market
A phased Betfred rollout gives S Gaming direct access to Great Britain’s online casino market, reducing its reliance on aggregators.
Betfred has begun adding S Gaming slots to its Great Britain online casino under a direct distribution agreement with the three-year-old studio.
S Gaming announced the partnership on September 18, 2026. The phased rollout starts with three titles. Further releases are planned weekly.
The agreement gives S Gaming direct access to Betfred customers instead of relying solely on third-party aggregation.
What is included in the rollout
European Gaming Industry News reported that the first titles are Bubble Gum Bonanza, Will it Ring? Box Breaker and Paddy’s Potions.
The publication also reported that later releases are expected to include Will it Ring? Deal Breaker, Shake The Money Tree 2 and Lemon Squeezy.
- Three S Gaming titles are included in the initial release.
- Further games are planned on a weekly schedule.
- The content is placed directly on Betfred’s online casino platform.
- The rollout covers Betfred’s Great Britain operation.
A test of direct supplier access
S Gaming launched in 2023. Placement on Betfred’s platform gives the studio access to British players through an established licensed operator.
It also gives Betfred another source of casino content beyond the largest global supplier groups.
Aggregators can give smaller studios broad distribution. Direct operator agreements can offer greater control over placement and launch timing.
The commercial test will be whether S Gaming can maintain visibility on a crowded British online casino platform after the phased launch ends.
Betfred’s regulatory position
Betfred operates in Great Britain through Petfre (Gibraltar) Limited. The Gambling Commission’s public register lists betfred.com as an active trading name under account number 39544.
The regulator recorded a separate settlement involving Petfre on June 30, 2026. The company agreed to pay £900,000 in lieu of a financial penalty after an investigation into social responsibility controls.
The Gambling Commission said the investigation identified weaknesses in customer-interaction processes. These included delays in carrying out further reviews after accounts showed indicators of potential harm.
That enforcement action is separate from the S Gaming agreement and does not change Betfred’s existing licence obligations.
Betfred remains responsible for meeting Great Britain’s requirements on safer gambling, customer interaction and game compliance.
Why the agreement matters
For suppliers, the partnership demonstrates the potential value of securing operator-level distribution in Britain. For Betfred, it expands the range of studios available to its online casino customers.
The deal does not show that direct placements will replace aggregator-led distribution. It shows that independent studios can pursue both routes.
The outcome will depend on whether S Gaming’s games retain visibility and commercial viability once the full rollout is complete.
